Hello!
I am an abstract painter inspired by the colors and textures that surround us. My process takes me through a journey of memories, thoughts and conversations. My work is a balance between bold, bright, energetic marks and calm placement of color. I adventure out into the world to observe, collecting fragments to color match with my gauche travel kit and pieces of canvas. I take these swatches back to my studio to create an ever evolving palette for my paintings with the intension of creating a visual experience for you.

Each Painting is unique. I do not make reproductions of any kind or sell my work as NFT’s. I use Acrylic paint to create numerous layers of depth with glazes and opaque saturated pigmented paint, using a variety of tools and methods to create vibrant pieces that evoke an array of emotions, thoughts and conversations. My goal is to give the viewer a visual experience and for collectors to bring a statement piece into their living spaces. My studio space is located in the historical Ford Building in Portland, OR. I left Portland, OR on May 31st driving south to Shasta Valley on the first leg of the 700 hundred mile road trip in my 1995 Chevy P30 that I built into a Mobile Art Gallery in 2016. In Shasta we were gifted Friday June 2nd with a full moon and set up a photo shoot in a field of wild grasses at the base the mountain. With Stops in Napa and the Bay Area I headed to my hometown of Carmel California to spend the next 5 weeks painting and hosting pop up shows in Outlier Gallery. I am currently submerged into the local flora and fauna on this beautiful peninsula where I was raised. Huge patches of orange California poppies grow right up to white sandy beaches littered with shells, kelp and other inspiring treasures.
